Miaise vsClinicSense.
ClinicSense is the closest match on the practice-management side for solo licensed massage therapists. We're closer to it in product surface than to Jane App, Mangomint, Booksy, GlossGenius, Vagaro, MassageBook, or Noterro. So if you're choosing between the two, here is the honest read, including where they're ahead.
The short answer
ClinicSense has more years in market, a Canadian direct-billing path, gift certificates, and an entrenched relationship with AMTA and ABMP. We have the tax-deduction surface they don't ship (mileage, expense classification, supplies, Schedule C export), voice charting that's generally available rather than in limited testing, outcall safety check-ins, hand-verified credentials with deep-link to the issuing state board, and no appointment caps at any tier. Our founder rate of $29/mo for the first 100 LMTs lands $40 below their full-time tier.
Pricing
Their tiers cap appointments. Ours don't.
ClinicSense tier names and appointment caps are theirs. A therapist running 60 to 80 sessions a month sits in their $69 Standard tier. Every Miaise tier is unlimited.
The founder rate locks for life for the first 100 LMTs to subscribe. See /pricing for the full explanation.
Capability comparison
Row by row, capability by capability.
We picked the rows that matter for solo mobile-outcall LMTs. Where a competitor is ahead we say so. Where the answer is "not available" or "not yet" we say that too.

The honest read
Where each tool is genuinely ahead.
Where ClinicSense is ahead
- Years of customers. More than twelve years in market, 8,500-plus practitioners on board, and years of customer-support reviews behind them. That kind of track record we can't manufacture, and won't pretend to.
- Canadian direct billing. TELUS Health eClaims is a real differentiator for Canadian therapists. We don't ship that path yet and won't in v1.
- Marketing-suite extras. Gift certificates, email marketing blasts, retention automation. They're not in scope for v1 Miaise.
- Trade-channel relationships. AMTA-approved partner. ABMP-dues-paid mechanic for members. APTA industry partner on the physical-therapy side. We're earlier in those conversations.
- Multi-discipline support. Their product page lists massage, PT, OT, chiro, osteo, acupuncture, holistic, and med-spa. If your practice serves a wider professional clientele, that breadth matters.
Where Miaise is ahead
- The tax-deduction surface. Mileage, expenses, and supplies all flow to Schedule C automatically. None of that is in ClinicSense at any tier. At the 2026 federal rate, 200 business miles a month is about $145 in deductions you'd otherwise track by hand.
- Voice charting, today. Generally available in v1, with modality-native vocabulary and sign-off discipline. ClinicSense's voice charting was in limited testing as of their 2025 year-in-review.
- Outcall safety. En-route route preview, parking notes from intake, trusted-contact pings. Outcall is the differentiating cohort for us, not a footnote.
- Credential verification. Hand-verified against state-board public registries, deep-linked badge per certification, lapsed-credential auto-removal in real time. ClinicSense doesn't surface practitioner verification anywhere on their site.
- Compliance, foregrounded. BAA path on the public security page, named subprocessors disclosed, HIPAA architecture surfaced as part of the brand. Not buried in a help-center article.
- No appointment caps. The founder rate is $29 unlimited. Their unlimited tier is $99.
Which one fits you
When to choose each.
Choose ClinicSense if
- You're in Canada and want TELUS Health direct billing.
- You run a multi-practitioner, multi-discipline clinic with acupuncture or chiro or PT alongside massage.
- You sell gift certificates regularly and want them built into the booking page.
- You want a longer track record from your software vendor than a 2026 launch can offer.
- You don't drive to clients and don't care about mileage, outcall safety, or per-trip expense capture.
Choose Miaise if
- You drive to clients and want every business mile captured for Schedule C automatically, at IRS-substantiation grade.
- Your practice supplies, receipts, and bank charges should land in one tax-ready ledger.
- You want voice charting in your hands today, not on a roadmap.
- You want your booking page anchored to verified credentials you can deep-link to the issuing state board.
- You'd rather see compliance posture and named subprocessors on the homepage than dig for the BAA.
- You're one of the first 100 LMTs to subscribe and want $29/mo locked for life.
How we made this comparison
The fine print, on purpose.
Pricing and tier names are pulled from clinicsense.com/pricing on May 18, 2026. We've kept their tier labels as-is and haven't editorialized on what's bundled at each level.
Customer count is from the ClinicSense homepage on the same date. Review counts are from Capterra. The voice-charting status reflects what they wrote in their 2025 year-in-review blog post.
We re-review this page on a regular cadence and on any material change to either product. If you're a ClinicSense customer or employee and we got something wrong, write hello@miaise.com and we'll correct it with the date stamp.
We don't take sponsorship from comparison-shopping platforms and nothing on this page is paid placement.
